Test Blocks

The most popular test blocks are readily available, and specials can be made to order. Each block is engraved with a unique serial number and fully certified to the relevant standards (where applicable). 

Probes

Baugh & Weedon NDT is pleased to offer the GB Inspection Systems range of probes (ultrasonic transducers), which are designed and manufactured to the highest standards by this BSI registered company.
Including standard single and twin crystal, shear and compression wave probes of 0°, 38°,45°, 60°,70°, at 2MHz, 2.5MHz, 4MHz, 5MHz. Non- standard probes can be made to specification. 

Cables

Manufactured from the highest quality components for excellent performance and durability, standard length 2metre cables are available with a choice of connectors, for all ultrasonic flaw detector and probe combinations.
Please note that special cables are available to order, and our thickness gauge cables are 1metre long.

Couplant

A wide range of ultrasonic couplant is available to suit all general requirements. All products have excellent probe coupling, and acoustic transmission properties, to ensure consistent probe movement even on rough surfaces. In addition to this, all products are non-toxic in nature and contain effective corrosion inhibitors making them suitable for use on ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
