The Teledictor Segregator Type 3612 is a low frequency unit in the range 12.5Hz to 1KHz, mainly for ferrous materials, and the 3613 is a high frequency unit in the range 1.25KHz to 100KHz for non-ferrous materials and small ferrous pieces.

On-screen monitoring is a feature of these segregators. Vertical and horizontal thresholds are displayed as bright lines on the screen. This creates an adjustable illuminated rectangle, so that spots that fall inside denote accepted components, while those that are outside indicate rejected ones.
