The Teledictor Double Sheet Detector Type 1241 is designed to detect and therefore prevent more than a single sheet of metal entering automatic processing lines and printing presses.

The complete instrument consists of three parts; a main control unit, a transmitting sensor and a receiving sensor.

The sensing heads are rigidly mounted in such a position that the sheet or strip being monitored passes between them. The changes in parameters, caused by the double sheets, are monitored by the control unit which may be situated in a convenient position on the machine. The cables supplied are 3.6 metres long.

The unit has two ranges, covering sheet thickness nominally from 0.125mm to 1.0mm
