The Teledictor Type 1192 Dynamic Crack Detector has been developed for 100% testing of safety critical components to ensure that minimum defect levels are not exceeded.

The equipment is particularly suitable for investigating machined metal components of a symmetrical nature such as ball pins, tie rods, pinions, gudgeon pins, shafts, bar sections, wheel hubs, etc.

• Automatic detection of surface breaking defects in ferrous and non-ferrous materials, with or without operator support.
• Designed for dynamic operation, where the probe and component move in relation to each other.
• Each probe can examine a width of approximately 6mm.
• Operates with non-contacting probes.
• Detects defects in all directions in a single test.

Total surface coverage can be achieved by moving the probe axially, which results in a helical scanning pattern.
